Five-element acupuncture:

Five element acupuncture taught in the School of Traditional Acupuncture appeared in Europe and the United States in the sixties of the XX century thanks to Professor J.R. Worsley. The key and the unique feature of the five element acupuncture is so called Causative Factor (C.F.). To determine C.F. of the patient’s sound of the voice, body aroma, colour of the face and the predominant emotion have to be classified. Therefore the students of the School are taught how to develop an extra-sensory perception in order to establish the C.F. of the patient. The determination of the C.F. is of paramount importance in the classical five element acupuncture. Moreover, this system of acupuncture recognizes human health on the level of the body, the mind and the spirit. Therefore, there are not two identical patients, hence the health of each patient is being restored with different procedures. Another characteristic of the five element acupuncture is the identification of the energetic blocks, which hinder the restoration of good health if not removed. The five element acupuncture in its principles is based on the classical premises of traditional Chinese medicine.
